HANA GLANDE _ 琥珀 by 松本よしこ＆たけお (Yoshiko & Takeo Matsumoto) 松本よしこ＆たけお夫妻が手がける「HANA GLANDE」シリーズの「琥珀」。本作は、ボロシリケイトガラス（耐熱ガラス）の光学的な特性をオイルチェンバーの中で極限まで引き出した作品です。 作家自身が約10年前より酸素バーナーの工房で技法を修得。可燃性ガスと酸素ガスを混合した約2000℃の極高温の炎によって生み出されるボロシリケイトガラスは、その厚みや光の照射角度によって色合いや表情を劇的に変化させます。さらに、ドライ（乾燥）状態では現れない色彩がオイルに浸すことで初めて浮かび上がるという特性に着目し、数百種におよぶ試作パーツの中から厳選・ブレンドして「琥珀」の深みある色彩を構築しました。 暗緑色の端正なステンドグラスボディを覗くと、2ミラー・11ポイントの完璧なシンメトリーが描く幾何学模様が広がります。中央の豊かな琥珀色の層から、外周へと向かって繊細な光の干渉と多重の奥行きが展開。 チェンバーを静かに回転させれば、比重と肉厚の異なるガラスパーツがオイルのなかとなめらかに揺らめき、時を閉じ込めたかのような重厚な光彩の移ろいをお愉しみいただけます。 【鑑賞について】 本作は光の透過・屈折によって真価を発揮する光学構造を持っています。チェンバー先端の透明な外周部分へ、ライトスタンドなどの照明をしっかりと当てて光を取り込みながらご鑑賞いただくことで、ガラス内部に潜む奥行きと豊かな色彩のグラデーションを存分にお愉しみいただけます。 HANA GLANDE _ Amber (Kohaku) by Yoshiko & Takeo Matsumoto HANA GLANDE: Amber is a work that maximizes the optical properties of borosilicate glass within an oil chamber. To realize this concept, the artist trained extensively in oxygen-burner techniques, working with extreme temperatures reaching approximately 2,000°C. Borosilicate glass alters its hue and expression depending on glass thickness and the angle of light. Crucially, certain subtle color tones remain hidden in a dry state and only emerge when immersed in oil. Through the trial and blend of hundreds of custom-crafted glass components, the distinctive "Amber" palette was achieved. Framed by a refined dark-green stained glass housing, looking inside reveals a precise 2-mirror, 11-point reflection system. Warm, golden amber tones at the center radiate outward into layers of translucent depth. As the chamber rotates, the carefully balanced glass objects flow through the oil with quiet elegance, delivering a profound experience of light and form. [Viewing Advice] To fully appreciate the optical depth and nuanced color shifts engineered into this piece, ensure ample light is directed at the transparent section of the chamber. Using a desk lamp or focused light source facing this area will reveal the vibrant world within in its full brilliance. オブジェクトについて松本氏からのお話・・・ 『ガラスオブジェクトは宇宙ガラスとして微妙に変化するボロシリケイトガラスの魅力を引き出したく、酸素バーナーの工房の指導を受けてオブジェクトの開発に取り組んできました。 何百種類のボロシリケイガラスの中から、５０種類以上をバーナーで引き伸ばして、サンプルを作りましたが、オイルに入れると色合いが変化するので、５０個ほどのオブジェクトケースにオイルとガラスを封印して、それぞれ単色のサンプルセットを製作しています。』 ギフトボックス入り ※実際のお色とPC上に表示される色合いは若干異なる場合がありますのでご了承ください。 ※専用の黒いボックス付きです。 |
