カレイドスコープ昔館でお取り扱いする万華鏡の多くは、国内外の作家による一点一点手作りのアート作品です。万華鏡専門店として、作家それぞれの表現や個性を尊重しながら作品をご紹介しています。
ご購入の前に、以下の点についてご理解いただけますと幸いです。
Most of the kaleidoscopes we carry are handcrafted by artists in Japan and abroad — each one made individually, by hand. Before purchasing, we ask that you take a moment to read the following.
♦︎手作りによる個体差について / Each Piece Is One of a Kind
当店の万華鏡は作家が一つひとつ手作りしているため、外観・内部のオブジェクト・映像パターンなどにそれぞれ個体差が生じます。同じ作品シリーズでも、全く同一のものは存在しません。これは不良品ではなく、手工芸品としての個性であり、お客様だけの一点ものとしての価値とお考えください。
Because every piece is made by hand, variations in the exterior, interior objects, and visual patterns are natural and expected — even within the same series. No two are identical.
This is not a flaw, but part of the character of handcrafted work — making each piece uniquely yours.

We photograph our pieces carefully to represent their true colors, but the appearance on your screen may vary depending on your device and display settings. The actual piece may differ slightly from what you see online.
♦︎素材の経年変化について / How Materials Age
万華鏡に使用されている金属・革・木材などの天然素材は、ご使用に伴い経年変化が生じ、色合いや質感が変わる場合があります。これは素材本来の性質であり、品質の劣化ではございません。変化を「経年美」としてお楽しみいただけると幸いです。
Natural materials — such as metal, leather, and wood — may change in color and texture over time through use and exposure.
This is not deterioration, but a natural characteristic of the material. We hope you will come to appreciate this aged beauty as part of the piece’s character.
♦︎取り扱いに関するご注意 / Handling & Care
万華鏡はデリケートなアート作品です。以下の点に十分ご注意のうえ、大切にお取り扱いください。
・破損の最も多い原因になります、落下・強い衝撃にはお気をつけください。
・直射日光の当たる場所や高温の環境（車内・窓際など）には保管しないでください。変色・変形・オイル漏れの原因となることがあります。
・テレイドスコープ（見る対象物を万華鏡映像にする種類）で太陽や強い光に向けて見ることは危険ですので絶対にお避けください。
・小さなお子様が万華鏡を楽しまれる場合は、必ず大人が付き添いのうえ、安全な環境でお楽しみください。
Kaleidoscopes are delicate objects. Please handle them with care.
・Dropping or strong impact is the most common cause of damage.
・Avoid leaving the piece in direct sunlight or high heat — such as inside a car or near a window — as this may cause discoloration, warping, or oil leakage.
・Never look through a teleidoscope — a type that transforms whatever it faces into a kaleidoscopic image — directly at the sun or any intense light source.
・When young children are enjoying a kaleidoscope, please ensure an adult is present and that it is used in a safe environment.
