天気の良い日に外へと連れ出し、光に透かして覗いてみれば、閃光きらめく光のラインが放射状に走り出す。 ３角に組まれたミラーシステムのうち、ブルーのガラスを用いていない面から光を取り込むと、暗く静まり返った宇宙空間から、突如として目も眩むような異次元空間が出現するのです。 僅かなオイルとガラスのオブジェクトが封印されたワンドを回してみれば、 そこもまた刻一刻と球体模様を変貌させています。 しかし、本作のもう一つの大きな魅力は、この極めて細身でシャープなフォルムにあります。 タイトルである「seimei（生命）」それは命の誕生を意味し、果てしない一点から湧き出てくる、無限のパワーをイメージした作品です。 Take it outside on a clear day and look through it toward the light: radiant lines of flashing brilliance will vividly burst forth. When light enters through the side of the triangular mirror system that features no blue glass, a dazzling alternative dimension suddenly manifests from the quiet darkness of deep space. As you rotate the wand—wherein a minimal amount of oil and glass objects are sealed—the spherical imagery within continuously transforms, changing its countenance from one moment to the next. Yet, another profound charm of this masterpiece lies in its exquisitely slender and sharp silhouette.
